The Royal St George and National Yacht Clubs are looking forward to welcoming you to Dun Laoghaire this weekend and hope you have an enjoyable time on and off the water. Please note the following:

Important Information for All Competitors:

 

Registration – All sailors

Registration for all classes takes place in the RSGYC on Friday pm 1700 – 2000 and on Saturday am 0830 – 0930.

 

Registration - All Support Boats

All support boats must register with the Race Office when they will be assigned an identification flag.

 

Competitor Briefings

A competitor briefing will take place in each club on Saturday morning for the classes allocated to that club.

 

Arrival – for visitors

Visitors bringing boats or ribs should go directly to the Carlisle Pier (old ferry pier between RSGYC & NYC). Boats should be unloaded from trailer on the pier area and then brought on launching trolley to the designated club.

Ribs must be launched from the slipway in the Coal Harbour and the trailers returned to the Carlisle pier where they may be stored for the weekend. Ribs may be berthed in the clubs when launched.

 

Boat Parking

The classes have been allocated to the two clubs. All boats in their class must launch and return to their designated club. The classes are allocated as follows:

RSGYC Optimist Trials Fleet, 420 Class and Feva Class

NYC Lasers (Radial & 4.7), Toppers and Optimist Championship Fleet.

Boats based in Dun Laoghaire must also park in the designated club.

 

Social

All competitors will be provided with a hot snack and drink on coming ashore:

 

* Saturday: Both Clubs Food and après sail in designated club or in club of choice.

* Sunday: NYC All sailors/All classes - food and après in NYC only

* Monday: RSGYC All sailors/All classes – food and après sail in RSGYC only - 4pm (approx) Prizegiving
