Corporate Hospitality

In order to help raise funds to support this event, companies have been granted the exclusive opportunity to hold corporate functions in the beautiful and historic host Yacht Clubs during this event in July. All functions, whether it be a Lunch, Dinner or Cocktail Reception, will be tailor-made to suit requirements and, as well as dining options, there will also be limited opportunities to entertain guests whilst watching the racing from chartered Private Yachts.

Join the fun in Volunteering

Whether you are a club, a business, a local body or individual you can get involved in this pinnacle event by volunteering, providing financial support, services or expertise.  Below are our various Volunteer Teams being put together - please do let us know if you would like to be involved in any of the Teams Below

• Administration, Race Office, Registration & Accreditation

• Boat Preparation & Pack Up

• Provide a Yacht/Motor Boat or Rib for spectators

Dublin Bay 2012's Ambition is :

• To assemble a world class team to organise the event
• To secure the finance and resources to run this high profile event for Ireland
• To engage clubs and youth sailors around the country to equal or better the podium result from 1996
• To create a lasting legacy for Youth Sailing through hosting a successful event here in Ireland

Club

How can yacht clubs in Ireland become involved?

We want club members and committees to be well-informed about the ISAF Youth Worlds and of the opportunity it presents for Irish sailing and our sailors.  The event will provide clubs around the country with a unique opportunity to:

• Apply for your club to visit the Youth Olympics of sailing : please email the Event Secretary on E: info@dublinbay2012.com
• Nominate volunteers to assist with the event organisation
• Provide equipment or resources to the event
• Support club sailors to compete in regional, national and international events and win qualification to represent their club and country in 2012
• Launch a coaching initiative in a class directed at ISAF Youth Worlds

As an Individual

There is a unique opportunity for individuals to be part of the team hosting this event for Ireland that will bring the top 350 youth sailors and national coaches to Ireland in July 2012.  There will be over 60 nationalities represented.

 We have 60 Nations we want to welcome this July

Do you speak a foreign language? -  If so WE NEED YOU!

We are anxious to make all the participants and their families welcome so that their experience in Ireland will be a memorable one.  We want to provide each team with a person who speaks their language and will be the face in the crowd they can turn if they need some help or assistance on arrival, getting settled in and during the event.
