How can yacht clubs in Ireland become involved?
We want club members and committees to be well-informed about the ISAF Youth Worlds and of the opportunity it presents for Irish sailing and our sailors. The event will provide clubs around the country with a unique opportunity to:
- Nominate volunteers to assist with the event organisation
- Support club sailors to compete in regional, national and international events and win qualification to represent their club and country in 2012
- Provide equipment or resources to the event
- Launch a coaching initiative in a class directed at ISAF Youth Worlds
- Apply for your club to visit the Youth Olympics of sailing
We plan ‘to partner’ with a number of clubs around the country that share our objectives and commit to help us achieve these ambitions. Let us know if you would like the Club Roadshow to visit your club.
