Whether you are a club, a business, a local body or individual you can get involved in this pinnacle event by volunteering, providing financial support, services or expertise. Below are our various Volunteer Teams being put together - please do let us know if you would like to be involved in any of the Teams Below
- Join the 'Meet & Greet Teams' being co-ordinated by Fiona Duffy.
- Administration, Race Office, Registration & Accreditation
- Airport Arrivals & Courtesy Cars
- Boat Preparation & Pack Up
- Opening and Closing Ceremonies
- VIP & Sponsors
- Provide a Yacht/Motor Boat or Rib for spectators
IF YOU ARE THINKING OF JOINING ONE OF OUR MANY VOLUNTEER TEAMS PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR INTEREST ON THE ENQUIRY FORM ON THE RIGHT. THE EVENT SECRETARY WILL THEN REVERT TO YOU.
Dublin Bay 2012's Ambition is :
- To assemble a world class team to organise the event
- To secure the finance and resources to run this high profile event for Ireland
- To engage clubs and youth sailors around the country to equal or better the podium result from 1996
- To create a lasting legacy for Youth Sailing through hosting a successful event here in Ireland
