National Yacht Club
Built in 1870 as the Kingstown Royal Harbour Boat Club, the NYC is one of Ireland’s premier sailing clubs. The waterfront location provides members and visitors with a relaxed setting. The social activities centre around the lower informal sailors’ area and the more formal first floor dining room, bar and balcony. Club members have a strong record for competition at national, international and Olympic level in both dinghy and keelboat classes. The club organise successful all year around junior training programmes for optimist, topper, laser and 420 classes.
